About Toman

Toman is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer whose warm, groove-driven sound has made him one of the most in-demand names in contemporary house and tech house. Rolling basslines, hypnotic minimal textures and an unmistakable sense of funk run through everything he plays and produces.

Raised in a musical household, he started out on drums as a kid before moving into production, and graduated from Utrecht’s renowned Herman Brood Academie in 2017 (Herman Brood Academie; ADE). That same year he made his debut with the Solanas EP on Mihai Popoviciu’s Cyclic Records (Beatport), the first step in a fast-rising international career.

Since then Toman has released on some of the scene’s most respected labels: Cécille, NO ART and Solid Grooves and in 2025 launched his own imprint, High Ceilings, with the single Emotion (Mixmag).

His Solid Grooves release Verano en NY became the defining club track of summer 2025: backed by more than 170 DJs, streamed nearly 24 million times on Spotify, and named Ibiza Track of the Summer at the DJ Awards 2025 (DJ Awards; Electronic Groove).

On Beatport he ranks as the best-selling Minimal / Deep Tech artist of all time, with seven #1 releases across four labels (Resident Advisor). He tours year-round, with regular appearances on Ibiza, at Club Space Miami, Awakenings, Watergate Berlin and clubs and festivals across Europe and the Americas.
